Reconfigured the second story of this late mid-century home on Beacon Hill. The second floor plan was reworked to create the new common space pictured here the fitted with new paint and hardwood flooring. A beautiful custom steel and glass railing overlooks the kitchen, giving the new space the feel of a loft.
The master bath received floor-to-ceiling tile treatment and a new walk-in shower. The client’s desire for clean, open space translated into a beautiful, high-key room filled with light from a high window.
The second floor rework created a new loft space overlooking the kitchen. Wanting to keep the bright, open feel of the common room, a minimal steel and glass railing brings a modern look to the loft while maintaining all of the room’s sight lines.
